    AQUARIUM REQUIREMENTS

    The Flowerhorn Cichlid is not as sensitive to water conditions as many other cichlids, but this does not mean tank keepers should not have a strict maintenance schedule. Because they are large fish and extremely messy eaters, it is recommended to have very strong filtration. When your hands and arms are in the tank, keep a close eye on the Flowerhorn for signs of aggression as this fish can leave a nasty bite.
